Brief Summary

The Windows ARM64 support added in #13678 does not seem to produce correct packages (MSI/ZIP). The resulting installers are unable to launch as it attempts to load libraries for the wrong architecture.

KeePassXC.exe is built as a native ARM64 PE (AA64 machine):

dumpbin for KeePassXC.exe
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\18\Community>dumpbin /headers "C:\Program Files\KeePassXC\KeePassXC.exe"
Microsoft (R) COFF/PE Dumper Version 14.51.36260.0
Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

Dump of file C:\Program Files\KeePassXC\KeePassXC.exe

PE signature found

File Type: EXECUTABLE IMAGE

FILE HEADER VALUES
            AA64 machine (ARM64)
               6 number of sections
        6AB3B739 time date stamp Wed Sep 23 07:25:45 2026
0 file pointer to symbol table
               0 number of symbols
              F0 size of optional header
              22 characteristics
                   Executable
Application can handle large (>2GB) addresses

However all of the Qt libraries are still built for x64 (8664 machine):

dumpbin for Qt6Core.dll
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\18\Community>dumpbin /headers "C:\Program Files\KeePassXC\Qt6Core.dll"
Microsoft (R) COFF/PE Dumper Version 14.51.36260.0

Possibly addressed in #13727? Will test the next beta after it is merged.

Probably not, I think I need to add flags to the windeployqt call to pull from the correct directory.
