When Copying and Pasting I am Getting a Stream of Tokens?? I think

This only happens when I select a large amount of files, one or two seems to work fine.

This never happened to me before @CoderNoveau , can you be more specific on how big the files you loaded (size Mb)? does the repo you loaded have gitignores? what were files/folder you selected on the tree (left sidebar checkbox)?

Yeah, I just downloaded this to try it. I just loaded up one of my projects that I'm working on. Without the node modules, it's about 400 meg. And yes, it does have git ignores because I'm pushing to GitHub. I hit select all and copy all selected and that's where the error happens.

Reducing this to one or two files is fine

Can you send a screenshot of the ignore filter? aswell as the files you selected from the tree @CoderNoveau .
This would be really helpful for me to debug.
Maybe even screenshots/copy of the dev console. 🙂

To view dev console from the prod build you can go to View -> Toggle Dev Tools -> Console

Hey, @CoderNoveau these screenshots are quite helpful.

It looks like PasteMax accidentally picked up your CMap/Fonts files. These are binary files that ideally shouldn’t be included, but PasteMax doesn’t currently know how to ignore them automatically. The reason is that CMap/Fonts files don’t follow a consistent or standardized naming pattern, each file tends to have a unique name like UniCNS-UCS2-H, Adobe-CNS1-UCS2, UniCNS-UTF16-H, etc. So PasteMax can’t recognize and filter them out automatically.

What you can do instead is manually set a global ignore for the folders where these files live. Here’s how to do that:

1. Open PasteMax
2. Click on the 'Ignore Filter' button.
3. Select 'Global Ignores'.
4. Scroll down to 'Custom Global Ignores'.
5. Add the Folders that contain these CMap/Fonts files, maybe like fonts and cmap.
6. Click 'Save' button to save these changes.

For example:

cmap
*.ttf

Note:

I’m not exactly sure where these files are located in your project, but once you track down the right folder, just add the folder to the ignore list. Then go ahead and run PasteMax again to see if that resolves the issue.
