This adds a desktop file, a metainfo file and a mime-type file that are used by Linux software installation front-ends to present applications, and add desktop integration. This will be used by the Flatpak package being put together for distribution on Flathub: flathub/flathub#5701

Adds .desktop file, metainfo XML, MIME type registration, and launcher script for Linux distribution packaging. Note: main-window.png screenshot not included (binary file from PR). Upstream: labbots#16 by @hadess Addresses labbots#15
