Section 10 (Material World): Advanced Materials, Automation & Digital Manufacturing, Agricultural Biotechnology, Decarbonization Pathways, Mobility Futures. Section 11 (Applied Sciences): Medical Specialties & Emerging Therapies, Global Health & Pandemic Preparedness, International & Comparative Law, Learning Science & Higher Education. Section 12 (Human Life): Homeostasis & Aging, Adolescence, Gender in Society (with SCOPE NOTE continuing L2/L3 sex/gender discipline), Meaning & Philosophy of Death. Use cross-disciplinary tier for this L4 gender chapter
The front-matter marks this chapter as Textbook, but this HA’s contract defines L4-L7 as Cross-disciplinary (see HA_gender_sexuality_Index.md header/table), and the chapter itself explicitly treats contested social and policy questions. Keeping Textbook here will cause tier-based consumers (including translation/review workflows that preserve Evidence Tier markers) to misclassify debated claims as settled, which undermines the repo’s tier-discipline rules.
