Added an api.rst page to automatically generate API documentation using the automodule directive.
Updated index.rst so the API reference is included in the documentation tree.
Built the documentation locally and resolved the missing py-modindex.html issue by ensuring the API page was included in the toctree.
Verified that the Python module index and generated API pages are produced correctly.
fixed documentation formatting warnings.
