Failed to load plugin "git-obsi-sync" - IOS

I have installed the plugin but when trying to enable on iphone I see the above message.

I hit the same error on iOS ("Failed to load plugin git-obsi-sync") and dug into the bundled main.js — I believe I found the root cause.

The bundle contains a bare Node.js require that mobile Obsidian cannot resolve:

var Ur=O((fn,yo)=>{var Fr=require("buffer"),$t=Fr.Buffer;...

This comes from the safe-buffer package (a transitive dependency of isomorphic-git). On desktop, Obsidian runs on Electron so require("buffer") resolves against Node's stdlib. On iOS/Android, Obsidian runs in a plain WebView (Capacitor) where only require("obsidian") and a few whitelisted modules exist, so this call throws at load time and the plugin fails before onload ever runs.

Suggested fix: bundle a browser polyfill for buffer instead of leaving it external. With esbuild, something like:

• add the buffer npm package as a dependency, and
• either set platform: "browser" with an alias/inject so require("buffer") resolves to the polyfill, e.g. alias: { buffer: "buffer/" }, or use an esbuild inject shim that provides Buffer globally.

After that, verify there are no remaining bare require("...") calls for Node builtins in the output (grep -o 'require("[a-z_/]*")' main.js) — obsidian should be the only external left.

I did try it, but another issue came up afterward, so I'm still looking into it. There isn't a stable version yet with all the issues resolved. I'm taking my time working through it, so I can't say when it'll be finished.

Sorry @zschoenstadt, but I've decided to give up on this. It turned out to be a harder problem than I coud fix with a quick patch. I've decided to find another plugin in the meantime and wait until @livan116 fixes the issue.
