Sync failed for not using "force: true"

Have set up Git Sync on two computers – OK.

• First sync, push (the notes I already have) on first one – OK.
• First sync, pull on second one – OK.
• Edited note on first, synced (pull & push) – OK.
• After that, started sync on second – pull (I guess) is OK, but on push got the error: "Push rejected because it was not a simple".

Then sync stuck on this error. Even after restarting Obsidian.

What am I to do?

Reporting that I've got the same issue. The full error is:

Push rejected because it was not a simple fast-forward. Use "force: true" to override.

Ran into the same error. Trying to sync between Linux and MacOS.

Clicking Connect GitHub to re-authenticate is also unuseful , even i try to change my net many times.

I have run into this exact same issue. Sync will no longer work.
