Developer building cloud platforms, native apps, systems software, and ambitious side projects.

Hey, I'm Louis 👋

I'm a UK-based student developer with a big interest in cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, native apps, and systems software.

I like building things end-to-end: the UI, the APIs behind it, the cloud infrastructure it runs on, the CI/CD that ships it, and the monitoring that tells me when I broke something.

A lot of my projects start as “what if I built this properly?” and then somehow end up involving containers, queues, native apps, infrastructure-as-code, or all four.

What I'm building

A cross-platform file conversion product for the web, iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.

Convertix uses a production-style, event-driven AWS architecture with Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, ECS/Fargate, ECR, CloudWatch, Terraform, Supabase, Next.js, and SwiftUI.

Conversions are uploaded directly to S3, queued through SQS, processed by autoscaling container workers, and returned through temporary download URLs.

ITServiceDesk

A first-person 3D IT service desk simulator built in Unreal Engine.

The aim is to recreate the day-to-day feel of a real service desk job: handling tickets, troubleshooting systems, using terminals and admin tools, communicating with users, documenting fixes, and working inside a believable corporate office environment.

I'm building it with a strong focus on realism, interaction, atmosphere, and production-quality visuals.

A cross-platform system monitoring project for Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android.

HardwareMon combines real-time hardware telemetry, historical analytics, processes, diagnostics, native packaging, automated releases, and platform-specific monitoring into one project.

Built with technologies including Flutter, FastAPI, Python, native platform integrations, GitHub Actions, and automated Linux/Windows distribution workflows.
