New host identity after every reboot when connecting via SSH

I noticed that every time I connect to the SSH after reboot the host identity changes, always leading to the ominous "someone is doing something nasty" message.
This is the reason I switched to dropbear for the SSH part.
It's possible that I did something wrong but I've been following the instructions closely.
How could one achieve not getting a new host identity on every reboot?

Let me look into this and see. Tailscale is supposed to handle known_hosts for you, dynamically injecting it at connection time. Really though the StrictHostKeyChecking isn't really needed, there is no normal ssh at all so the only way for an incoming connection is via an authenticated/authorized tailscale client. That is to say, the server's key is typically used to verify the server's identity but in this case tailscale identifies it by nature of it being joined to the tailnet.
