@alejoe91 , as discussed via email, we'll need to figure out how to maintain backward compatibility. In particular, I'm not sure how to deal with the return type changing. Maybe we need a different function. |

@magland this is a basic update to the new version. It justs updates the basic function calls and transposes traces when needed.
Let me know if it looks good to you! I also bumped up the verison to
1.1.0
