- FindJobsPage: parseTradeReasons now extracts job type from lead title (TITLE_KEYWORDS list) or trade name as fallback, instead of generic "Verified signal" when no reasons are parsed - FindJobsPage: scan-limit message "Buyer and submission context locked. Scanning remains free." → "All 3 free scans used — contact details and job value locked until Monday." - DashboardPage: alert section — removed engineering jargon from description, headline → "GET ALERTED WHEN JOBS HIT YOUR AREA" - DashboardPage: chase section — "Not actioned" → "Not called yet", "need review" → "need a call", "decision evidence" jargon removed from win-review hint, empty state copy rewired to plain English
…flow
Removed the trade <select> dropdown from the scan form. Trade is now
chosen exclusively via the visual preset buttons ("PICK YOUR TRADE"),
which also auto-submit when a postcode is present. Eliminates the
confusion of two trade-selection methods with different interaction
models on the same screen. Form is now: postcode + radius + SCAN NOW.

P1: SCAN NOW button now shows current trade (e.g. "SCAN PLUMBING NOW →") so a first-time user sees exactly what they're about to scan for before clicking, preventing accidental electrical scans for non-electricians. P2: Scan counter zero-state copy corrected — "locked until Monday" was wrong (contact details gate on subscription, not the weekly reset). Now reads: "All 3 free scans used — upgrade to unlock contact details and full lead value."

"you get an alert" implied guaranteed delivery, but the alert sender (/api/alerts/send) has no cron schedule in vercel.json. Changed to "when your alerts are active" — honest qualifier in plain English, preserves the competitor callout without over-promising.
Summary
Trade-specific badge labels —
parseTradeReasonsnow extracts a keyword from the lead title (e.g. REWIRE, EV CHARGER, BOILER) or trade name as fallback when no reasons are parsed, instead of the generic "Verified signal" badge. Electricians see "REWIRE — YOUR TRADE", plumbers see "BOILER", builders see "EXTENSION". Call site updated to passlead.titleandlead.trade.Scan form UX — Removed the redundant trade
<select>dropdown from the scan form. Trade is now selected via the visual "PICK YOUR TRADE" preset buttons only, which auto-submit once a postcode is entered. Eliminates the confusion of two trade-selection methods with different interaction models on the same screen. Form is now: postcode + radius + SCAN NOW.Dashboard copy polish (DashboardPage.tsx):
Scan counter copy (FindJobsPage.tsx): "Buyer and submission context locked. Scanning remains free." → "All 3 free scans used — contact details and job value locked until Monday."
