Core: improve Arcadis: young generation's new ideas may contribute leadership to find a new approach to deal with challenge.

  • Inspire other: help others in public

  • Speed: find the answers as soon as possible
  • Collaboration: cooperate with others, help and be helped by others in Yammer.
  • Engagement: involve within the game.

Application Process

Which new generation talent do you bring to global shapers?

  Leadership and risk management skill

In college, I was the chairman of Student Union. In my tenure, I organised many activities with my teammates, such as the Freshmen Welcome Party and the College Singer Contest. This experience improves my leadership and team collaboration ability.

Arcadian's project and risk management ability may be improved because I can share the idea of risk management and risk management techniques to global shapers. My risk management research helps me get the Master degree of Engineering Project Management at the University of Manchester. I deeply understand how to apply some advanced risk management techniques, such as Monte Carlo Simulation to a project. This is what I can contribute.

What is your main motivation for applying for global shapers?

To become a better Arcadian

I am the person who is committed to excellence, and I believe that people need to collaborate with others to achieve the goal. Global Shapers Program provides me with a great opportunity to build international connections with worldwide Arcadian. In this program, we could share knowledge and experience to each other. Besides, communicating with Arcadis management will make me fully understand and believe Arcadis' core values.

Therefore, I want to become a better Arcadian in Global Shapers Program. Maybe in the future, as a part of global shapers, I can work together with my colleagues to improve Arcadis.

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s my pleasure to present you a new technology for our company and clients. It is Building Information Modelling in Virtual Reality, called BIMVR.   BIMVR brings BIM model into virtual reality space. In design phase, we can use this technology to conduct 3D clash analysis, energy analysis and green material quantity take-off. Besides, BIMVR enables clients to walk virtually through a building. Based on clients' precisely feedback, we could achieve high level of client satisfaction. Moreover, in building maintenance, this technology will improve the performance of facility management and building sustainability.   I believe that BIMVR will help us build sustainable buildings in cost saving approach for clients. This digital solution will push boundaries of sustainability and fulfil our passion for improving quality of life.
