1. Full output

The screenshots aren't rendering clearly. Could you paste the full terminal output as text? We need the complete error message and any preceding lines.

2. Tenant mismatch (most likely cause)

Run az account show and share the output. Specifically, we need the tenantId from that output. Does it match the tenant where you created your client app registration? If you have access to multiple tenants, you may need to run az login --tenant before running a365 config init.

3. App ID confirmation

In the Azure portal, navigate to Azure Active Directory > App registrations and confirm the Application (client) ID you entered into the wizard. A typo in the GUID is a common cause of this error.

4. App registration location

Was the app registration created in your organization's home tenant, or in a different Azure AD tenant (e.g., a customer tenant or a B2B scenario)? The CLI looks up the app in whichever tenant az login is currently authenticated to.

5. User role in the tenant

Are you a Member or a Guest in the tenant where the app was created? Guest users sometimes have restricted Graph API visibility that prevents the CLI from finding the app registration.

6. az login state

Before running a365 config init, did you run az login in the same terminal session? Please run az account list --output table and share the output so we can confirm the active subscription and tenant.

7. Confirm active tenant

Run az account show and share the output. We need to verify the tenantId matches the tenant where your app registration was created.

8. Confirm the app is visible in that tenant

Run az ad app show --id . If this returns "not found", the CLI will fail for the same reason — and it confirms the app either doesn't exist in the active tenant or your account doesn't have visibility to it.

a365 config init has been removed as of this release. The replacement is:

a365 setup all --agent-name --aiteammate

If the client app cannot be resolved automatically from your tenant, the command will prompt you to provide the client app ID. If the ID you supply does not exist in the tenant, setup will exit with a clear error rather than hanging silently as config init did on older versions.
Please upgrade to the latest version: https://www.nuget.org/packages/Microsoft.Agents.A365.DevTools.Cli/1.1.161-preview and share the logs/output if you are still running into issues.
