Decided July 30, 2026. Every other public artifact in the ecosystem — dashboards, studios, companions, instruments, games, and conference translations — is a companion to this page, and should link back to it.
Two things follow for anyone editing the ecosystem:
- No other artifact should claim to be the entry point, the source of truth, or the page that "controls" when wording differs. If you find such a claim, correct it and point it here.
- This page is not the controlling source for scholarly content. The controlling source is the submitted Chapters 1-3. This page is the canonical entry point; the proposal is the canonical text. Keep the header's "last aligned with the proposal" date current when you revise.

micahminer.com/dissertation-research/ is outside GitHub. Its wording is tracked in
MANUAL_SITE_UPDATES.md in the doctoral research workspace.
This repository contains public-facing overview material only. Do not store participant data, interview materials, private research notes, or IRB-protected content here.

The Pedagogical Friction framework and its terminology are the author's scholarly work; please cite the dissertation and related publications when building on them.
