Simply gates the python bindings behind a feature flag, so downstream dependencies don't need to use the python functionality.
Was looking at the different tokenizer implementations there are in rust and came across this repo, thought it was pretty cool what you are building.
I might do some benchmarking and use this in a project I'm building at the moment.
