Roadkill Pro for Autodesk Maya

UV unwrapping plugin for Autodesk Maya — updated to support modern Maya versions.
Original plugin by Andy Swann, maintained by Monster Puppet Corporation.

🪣 Installation

Download the latest installer from the Releases page.

Option A — Installer (recommended)

Run Roadkill_Maya_Windows.exe. The installer detects which Maya versions are present on your machine and lets you choose which ones to install for.

Note: Some Windows 10 users have reported issues with the installer. If that happens, use the manual install below.

Option B — Manual install

1. Download the manual_install folder from this repo.
2. Copy Roadkill.mod to C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Documents\maya\modules (create the folder if it doesn't exist).
3. Create the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Roadkill\.
4. Copy the plug-ins and scripts folders into C:\Program Files (x86)\Roadkill\.

⌛ Loading the plugin

1. Open Maya.
2. Go to Windows → Settings/Preferences → Plug-in Manager.
3. Find RoadkillPro and enable Loaded and Auto load.

Roadkill tools are available in the UV menu.

🗑️ Uninstalling

Search for "Uninstall Roadkill" in the Start menu and run the uninstaller.
