Mini Retreat Tübingen 02/2011

General Ideas

  • we really need a code review session!!! Most bugs reported by users are due to index-out-of-bounds and similar, usually combined with "unexpected" input data ( e.g. negative m/z values (some converters will produce these!), empty containers, etc). Everyone who finds a leak is rewarded a gummy bear! (TODO: bring gummy bears)
  • prepare tutorials for the upcoming workshops
  • adapt wikipedia article on mass spectrometry software: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass_spectrometry_software
  • we should go through the TRAC tickets, prioritize and assign them to people
  • new OpenMS website (again) .. should we use wordpress?
