ProspectMap

ProspectMap is an AI territory intelligence tool for B2B industrial sales teams. Reps choose a location and radius on a GrabMaps-powered Singapore map, then discover industrial sites ranked by risk, company size, incidents, and operational signals.

What it does

• Uses GrabMaps + MapLibre for the base map experience.
• Shows 25 Singapore industrial prospects across Tuas, Jurong, Jurong Island, Changi, Seletar, and other industrial corridors.
• Lets reps filter by vertical, radius, minimum incidents, and sort by risk or company size.
• Greys out prospects outside the active search radius.
• Displays a crisp Singapore context map with roads, area labels, water, parks, industrial zones, and hover previews on prospect pins.
• Generates account intelligence with events, jobs, news, and contacts through Anthropic Claude when an API key is present.
• Falls back to demo intelligence when AI keys are not configured, so the demo remains reliable.

Why it matters

B2B field reps often waste hours deciding which industrial accounts are worth visiting. ProspectMap turns that workflow into a visual prioritization engine: select a territory, see the highest-risk/highest-value sites, scan account intelligence, and decide where to focus.

Demo data

The current prototype uses synthetic industrial company data in src/data.js. The data includes company name, industry vertical, coordinates, employee count, safety incident count, estimated revenue, and last delivery activity.

In a production version, these signals would connect to verified sources such as workplace safety records, company registries, news, hiring data, Clay enrichment, CRM data, and logistics activity.

VITE_GRABMAPS_KEY is the main GrabMaps API key. VITE_BRAGMAPS_KEY is only kept as a compatibility alias.

Deploy

The simplest path is Vercel.

1. Push this project to GitHub.
2. Import the repo in Vercel.
3. Add the environment variables in Vercel Project Settings.
4. Use the default Vite build settings:

Build command: npm run build
Output directory: dist
Install command: npm install

Demo script

1. Start at western Singapore around Jurong/Tuas.
2. Show that the app highlights prospects inside the selected radius and greys out sites outside it.
3. Filter to high-incident oil & gas or chemicals accounts.
4. Sort by risk and point out the highest-priority accounts.
5. Hover a map pin to show the inline company preview.
6. Open a prospect and click Scan intel.
7. Explain how the generated events, jobs, news, and contacts help a rep prepare outreach.

Known limitations

• Prospect data is synthetic for hackathon demo purposes.
• Client-side API calls expose browser environment variables, so a production version should move AI and enrichment calls behind a small backend or serverless endpoint.
• The custom Singapore map context layer is approximate and designed for demo clarity, not survey-grade geography.
