Bug description
For a recurring event, the "Delete this occurrence" action is missing when opening the first occurrence of the series.
The same action is available as expected on subsequent occurrences of the exact same recurring event.
This appears to be a regression in the Calendar frontend. In particular, issue #5602 documents that with Calendar 4.6.0 it was possible to select the first occurrence and use "Delete this occurrence".
The current UI still contains the recurring-event deletion actions ("Delete this occurrence", "Delete this and future occurrences", "Delete entire series"), but the single-occurrence action is not offered for the first instance.
Steps to reproduce
- Create a recurring event (for example, a weekly event with several occurrences).
- Open the first occurrence of the recurring series.
- Open the delete actions.
- Observe that "Delete this occurrence" is not offered.
- Close the editor and open any later occurrence of the same series.
- Open the delete actions again.
- Observe that "Delete this occurrence" is offered for the later occurrence.
Expected behavior
The first occurrence should offer "Delete this occurrence", just like every later occurrence.
Deleting only the first occurrence should keep the recurring series and exclude/cancel only that occurrence (for example through the appropriate recurrence exception / EXDATE representation).
Actual behavior
The "Delete this occurrence" option is absent for the first occurrence only. It is available for subsequent occurrences.
