Thanks, it was a display error in Nextcloud. I could see from the console that the update had worked and that it could now be reactivated. Great that it's working again.
Excellent, I am still surprised this project is not a part of the main installer of NextCloud and is not being maintained by the NextCloud developers in the same time as NextCloud is. The app was out of commission for over a week if not two. I use it to plan days / to-do lists. 2 weeks without to-do list for ADHD person. CHAOS 😁😁😁
Sorry, it took me so long to release an update. But you could and always can force-enable an app that is not officially compatible with the Nextcloud version you run. Tasks 0.17.1 runs fine on Nextcloud 34 if you force-enable it.
Hey Brother. No problem. We all have lives and priorities. I know the app could be forced - I was considering it - but I was afraid to risk it and introduce instability and possibly destroy the database if something went wrong.
You're doing a great job. Thank you for your time and I appreciate you very much. I was just surprised - after my update script ran at night and updated the NextCloud and in the morning I tried adding a task and it wasn't there... 😜

Tasks 0.18.0 is on the appstore now.
RoundAboutWEB commentedon Jun 23, 2026
Unfortunately, the update to 0.18.0 is still not available:

Sadly we could not due to PHP version incompatibility
I think everybody understands that there is a life out there :D
Thanks for all your efforts!
Highly appreciated!
