Describe the bug
When you select some text and then click the "Comment" button, the selection is deleted and replaced by the comment icon. This is very unexpected.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Open a text file with no comments yet and select some text in it
- Click on 'Comment'
- See how there is no comment created (Bug 1)
- Unselect the text and click on 'Comment' again
- See how a comment is created at the position of the cursor
- Select some text again and click on 'Comment'
- See how there is a comment created now but replaced your selected text (Bug 2)
Expected behavior
Creating comments should always work with selected text (not only after the first comment). The selected text should be in some way highlighted and not be deleted when creating a comment.
