- 👋 Hi, I’m @nicholas-camarda, MD, PhD
- 👀 I'm a Ophthalmology PGY-1 @ New England Eye Center / Tufts Medicine
- 💾 I am interested in designing and applying machine learning methods to build more robust predictive models, risk analysis platforms, and biomarker discovery pipelines for data-driven decision making in medicine.
- 🌱 I did my PhD investigating mitigating strategies for VEGF receptor inhibitor-induced hypertension and endothelial cell dysfunction.
- 🔬 Current projects include uveal melanoma outcomes, retinal nonperfusion analysis in proliferative diabetic retinopathy, deep learning in histology, proteomics analysis tools, sports analytics, and reproducible research infrastructure.
- 🔎 I’m always looking to collaborate on any project that can leverage R or Python expertise
