Summary

The README's "What's New" section had grown to cover v1.1.0 → v1.4.1. Trimmed it to show only the current cycle (v1.4.1, v1.4.0, v1.3.0) and replaced older entries with a single link to the GitHub Releases page where the full history lives.

Why

  • Top-of-README real estate is for what changed recently, not for archival changelog
  • Releases page is the canonical source — no need to duplicate
  • Cuts ~20 lines of stale prose from the entry point

Test plan

  • README renders without orphan section breaks
  • Releases link points to the correct repo

Older entries (v1.2.x, v1.1.x, v1.1.0) moved to a single link to
GitHub Releases. The What's New block now shows v1.4.1, v1.4.0,
v1.3.0 and points to the releases page for full history.
