Turn on os lint --strict in this repo's verify chain and prove the gate reds (epic #1579, step 2b — the half that needs a release) #1581

Description

@os-zhuang

Blocked-by: objectstack-ai/objectstack#15935

Sub-issue of the epic #1579 (maintainer 2026-09-05, 「同意你的建议,你把卡片写好」). Filed by the director seat (objectstack#12708, summon #15); pm:epic reserves it for the epic PM.

✅ The Blocked-by CLEARED on the install surface — 2026-09-09T04:4xZ

@objectstack/cli@17.4.0 published 2026-09-09T03:58:24Z (the whole 17.4.0 line went out at ~03:58Z). Verified by the epic PM at the artifact level, ⛔ not by a version comparison:

  1. The card's own literal probe passes. Installed the published @objectstack/cli@17.4.0 standalone in a scratch dir and ran objectstack lint --help:
$ os lint [CONFIG] [--json] [--fix] [--strict] [--score] ...
--strict Fail the run (exit 1) on warning-severity findings too, exactly as
an error does; suggestions stay advisory. Without it only errors fail

  2. The mechanism is in the shipped bundle, read out of the published tarball: strict: Flags.boolean({...}) at dist/commands/lint.js:458, and the failing computation const failing = errors.length + (strict ? warnings.length : 0) at :661. The default is unchanged — without the flag only errors fail.
  3. objectstack#16634's pin shipped too. @objectstack/plugin-auth@17.4.0 declares all five better-auth deps at exact 1.7.2 (better-auth, @better-auth/core, /oauth-provider, /scim, /sso). So objectstack#16186's caret-range break is closed in a published artifact, not only in main.

⇒ The unblock predicate — published version strictly greater than 17.3.0, carrying --strict, and pinned here — is satisfied on its first two clauses. The pinning clause is this card's own first act.

⚠️ The bump is a whole-line 17.3.0 → 17.4.0, and it includes @objectstack/spec

package.json on main (f34efa3) pins 21 @objectstack/* packages at exact 17.3.0 (20 in dependencies, @objectstack/formula in devDependencies). All 21 are published at 17.4.0 — verified package by package — so an all-or-nothing line bump resolves. ⛔ Do not bump the cli alone: a cli that lints against one spec while the runtime resolves another is a confound, and any count measured that way is not a result.

⚠️ @objectstack/spec moves too, and this repo validates against it. That is why step 3 below is not optional bookkeeping — it is the gate on this card.

⚠️ This card was NARROWED on 2026-09-05. Two of its four original work items are gone.

Maintainer, 2026-09-05, on being shown that this card was parked behind a release in its entirety: 「必须要等发版本吗?」 → 「ok」 → 「不要等发版,hotcrm能做的开发可以先做」.

⇒ It did not all have to wait. This card carried one Blocked-by over separable pieces, and its own body already sequenced them. The generalisable form, recorded because it is the error this epic made and should not repeat: ⭐ a Blocked-by sits on a card, but blockage is a property of the work.

original item where it went
zero the 90 platform warnings #1596 — LANDED (PR #1605, 8223d0a). 90 → 59; three of five families cleared
delete scripts/wow1-live-schema.sh ⛔ REFUSED — the premise was false. See below
the 42 flow-loop-body-uncontained warnings split out as #1604 — LANDED (PR #1611, 9924ee1a), 42 → 0
flip lint to --strict + prove the gate reds this card — now unblocked, see above

⛔ scripts/wow1-live-schema.sh is NOT to be deleted

The original claim here — "wired to no package.json script and no workflow and asserts nothing" — is true and irrelevant. git grep wow1 finds six published documentation pages across three locales that instruct a reader to run it: content/docs/ai-copilot/live-schema.mdx and content/docs/whats-new.mdx, each in .mdx / .zh-Hans.mdx / .zh-Hant.mdx. Re-derived independently against origin/main with a working control.

⚠️ "Wired to nothing" and "referenced by nothing" are different claims. Deleting the file would leave six shipped pages telling readers to run something that does not exist. Removing it is a docs decision needing its own card, ⛔ never a cleanup rider on a lint change. The census's single delete row is therefore wrong; read the epic's table as 0 deletable files. ⭐ Re-confirmed 2026-09-08: the file is still on main and this refusal still stands — ⛔ do not re-open it as "unblocked work".

The work that remains

  1. Bump all 21 @objectstack/* pins 17.3.0 → 17.4.0 (exact, no carets — objectstack#16186 is why). Prove the bump neutral before touching the lint flag: pnpm validate && pnpm typecheck && pnpm build && pnpm test green, and report the lockfile's packages: block movement explicitly (a bumped line legitimately moves it — say what moved and why, ⛔ do not wave it through).

  2. lint in package.json becomes objectstack lint --strict.

  3. Prove the gate reds. pnpm verify and CI's Quality Checks job must go red on any new warning from that commit on. One ablation: introduce a known warning, run, confirm exit 1 naming the rule id, restore by blob hash.

  4. ⚠️ Expect the flip to red on any warning that still stands. ⭐ ⛔ The warnings:1 below is a 17.3.0 measurement and is now UNSAFE TO QUOTE — it was taken with the old cli and the old lint, and @objectstack/lint@17.4.0 shipped in this same line. A new lint can move the count in either direction. The table is history, not a target:

    family 2026-09-05 2026-09-08 (on 5b2ecdd, cli+lint 17.3.0) why
flow-loop-body-uncontained 42 0 42 flow-loop-body-uncontained warnings: 10 scheduled sweeps abort on their first failing record — the fix is measured, and it moves shape 8 local flow-graph guards read flat #1604 / PR Contain a failing item to its own loop iteration: ten sweeps stop aborting mid-batch (42 flow-loop-body-uncontained to 0) #1611 landed (9924ee1a)
    component-props-invalid 16 0 页面 header 的 actions 改回协议规定的 action id:16 条 component-props-invalid 归零(本仓不依赖 @object-ui,从来不需要等它发版) #1653 / PR fix(pages): author page:header actions as action ids, per the protocol #1656 landed; the objectui renderer predicate cleared
component-props-unknown-key 1 1 owned by The Sales Home AI card's paragraph never reaches the screen: description is not a prop page:card declares, and #1002's guard pins the copy there #1216 — the copy is pinned by the ruling-backed Home page still ships a card titled "Ask the Sales Copilot" — a retired persona in live UI metadata, outside every docs guard's scan surface #1002 persona guard

⇒ ⭐ Re-derive the count and every rule id yourself, on your own base SHA, AFTER step 0 — that is the only number that governs. Under 17.3.0 the last standing warning was The Sales Home AI card's paragraph never reaches the screen: description is not a prop page:card declares, and #1002's guard pins the copy there #1216's single component-props-unknown-key; whether that is still true under @objectstack/lint@17.4.0, and whether the new line adds or drops findings, is unmeasured and is your first result.
⛔ Do not flip the flag while any warning stands. If the count is not 0, this card is not ready — land step 0 on its own, say exactly what stands with rule ids and counts, and stop. ⛔ Never suppress, whitelist or locally re-severity a rule to make the flip pass. That would grow exactly the gate farm this epic exists to remove.
⛔ The Sales Home AI card's paragraph never reaches the screen: description is not a prop page:card declares, and #1002's guard pins the copy there #1216 is not this epic's card and this epic does not dispatch it, however convenient it would be.

  5. Changeset: empty frontmatter (no user-visible metadata change).

Acceptance

pnpm lint --strict exits 0 on main; exits 1 on the ablation, naming the injected rule id; pnpm test unchanged — ⛔ this card deletes no test, that is step 3's job per family. If step 3's re-derived count is not 0, the acceptance is instead: step 0 landed clean, and a report naming every standing rule id and its owner.

⛔ Not in this card

⚠️ Standing caveat from the split: zeroing without the flag does not stay zeroed — nothing prevents warnings creeping back until this card lands. That is the accepted cost of splitting, ⛔ not a reason to have delayed the unblocked half. ⭐ The count fell 90 → 59 → 1 while this card waited, so the caveat has cost nothing so far; ⛔ that is luck plus other cards' work, not evidence the risk is imaginary.

⚠️ NARROWED — the unblocked half is split out as #1596. This card is now the flag flip only.

    Epic PM session_01DuzfS5chho38Yx1jxx9DEj, 2026-09-05T22:0xZ. Maintainer, verbatim: 「必须要等发版本吗?」 → 「ok」 → 「把 #1581 拆开并派第 1 步」 → 「不要等发版,hotcrm能做的开发可以先做」.

What was wrong with this card's shape

It carried one Blocked-by over two separable pieces, and its own body already sequenced them ("Zero the warnings first … Then lint becomes objectstack lint --strict"). Only the second piece needs the release:

    piece needs now
zero the platform warnings · delete scripts/wow1-live-schema.sh only the currently pinned @objectstack/cli 17.3.0, which already reports them ⇒ #1596, dispatched
flip lint to --strict · prove the chain reds on a new warning a published CLI carrying --strict, then pinned here ⇒ this card, still blocked

⇒ The Blocked-by was stricter than the work required, and it parked the bulk of the value behind a release that has not happened. Recorded as a card-shape error rather than quietly re-scoped.

    This card's remaining scope

    1. lint in package.json becomes objectstack lint --strict (or the flag's landed spelling).
    2. pnpm verify and CI's Quality Checks go red on any new warning from that commit on — proven with one ablation (introduce a known warning, run, restore by blob hash).
    3. Changeset per the original.

⛔ Steps 1 and 3 of the original body (zeroing the warnings, deleting wow1-live-schema.sh) are #1596's and must not be redone here.

Blocked-by — unchanged in kind, sharpened in reading

Blocked-by: objectstack-ai/objectstack#15935 — merged (PR #15967, objectstack main 2da2901e) but not published. Measured 21:5xZ: npm view @objectstack/cli version = 17.3.0, which is also what this repo already pins. ⚠️ The pin matching the registry proves nothing — 17.3.0 predates the flag's merge. The unlock is a published @objectstack/cli strictly greater than 17.3.0 that carries --strict, and then this repo's pin moved to it. ⛔ Merged ≠ published; ⛔ published ≠ pinned.

⚠️ Also add Blocked-by: #1596 in practice: flipping the gate to --strict while 90 warnings stand would red the chain on the first run. The order is not stylistic.

⚠️ Zeroing without the flag does not stay zeroed — nothing stops warnings creeping back until this card lands. ⇒ This should follow as soon as a release makes it possible; that is the accepted cost of the split, ⛔ not a reason it should have held #1596 hostage.

Claim: epic PM session_01DuzfS5chho38Yx1jxx9DEj → dev branch claude/issue-1581-lint-strict-flip

Dispatched by the epic PM for epic #1579 step 2b. The assignee and this claim are the PM's act; the dev inherits both, checks that the newest Claim: names its branch, and ⛔ posts no second claim and ⛔ never writes the assignee.

Why now — the Blocked-by cleared at 2026-09-09T03:58:24Z

The card body carries the full evidence. In one line: @objectstack/cli@17.4.0 is published and objectstack lint --help, run from that published artifact, lists --strict — the card's own literal probe, ⛔ not a version comparison. @objectstack/plugin-auth@17.4.0 carries objectstack#16634's exact 1.7.2 better-auth pins in the same line.

The two things that make this dispatch different from what the card originally imagined

    1. It is a whole-line bump, not a cli bump. 21 @objectstack/* packages are pinned exact at 17.3.0 here; all 21 exist at 17.4.0. ⛔ Bumping the cli alone would lint against one spec while the runtime resolves another — that is a confound, and a count measured that way is not a result.
    2. ⭐ The number on this card is now unsafe to quote. warnings:1 was measured under cli and lint 17.3.0; @objectstack/lint@17.4.0 shipped in this same line. Whether The Sales Home AI card's paragraph never reaches the screen: description is not a prop page:card declares, and #1002's guard pins the copy there #1216's single component-props-unknown-key is still the only standing warning is unmeasured. Re-derive it yourself on your own base SHA after the bump — that is your first result, and it decides whether the flag flips at all.

⛔ If the count is not 0: land the bump on its own, report every standing rule id with its owner, and stop. ⛔ Never suppress, whitelist or re-severity a rule to make the flip pass — that grows exactly the gate farm this epic exists to remove. ⛔ #1216 is another card's and is not to be fixed here.

(1) The card's warnings:1 is obsolete: 1 -> 13, because field-no-consumers is a NEW rule in @objectstack/lint@17.4.0 and fires 12 times; #1216's single component-props-unknown-key is still there and untouched. (2) Step 0 is NOT neutral and its stated fallback 'land step 0 alone' is unavailable: @objectstack/spec@17.4.0 renames dashboard.refreshInterval to refreshIntervalSeconds (BREAKING, shipped as minor under the platform's launch-window convention, old spelling left as a retiredKey tombstone), and the bare bump fails validate (exit 1, 5 errors), typecheck (exit 1, 5 x TS2322), build (exit 2) and lint (exit 1, STACK_SCHEMA_INVALID - the stack will not even load, so the step-1 count was unmeasurable, not merely unmeasured). Who owns the migration?",
          "options": [
            "A - a dedicated '17.4.0 platform migration' card that owns the whole blast radius (5 dashboards, objectstack.manifest.json specVersion + engines.protocol, objectstack.config.ts manifest.engines.protocol, docs/STATUS.md, content/docs/whats-new x3 locales, and the one test/** edit), with #1581 Blocked-by it",

          ],
"recommendation": "A. The blast radius is not a lint concern and half of it needs product decisions; folding it into a flag-flip card repeats precisely the card-shape error this epic already recorded ('a Blocked-by sits on a card, but blockage is a property of the work'). #1581 then reduces to its true remaining content - flip the flag once the count is 0 - and stays honest. B keeps one card doing two unrelated jobs; C forfeits the epic's whole purpose."

        {
"question": "@objectstack/spec@17.4.0 changed readonly-on-INSERT semantics: 17.3.0 deliberately exempted INSERT from the readonly strip, 17.4.0 strips on INSERT too. test/readonly-write-semantics.test.ts asserts the OLD contract by name ('the strip is an UPDATE-path rule - insert is deliberately exempt'), and 6 test files encode it. Do the tests move or does the app?",
          "options": [
"A - the platform contract changed intentionally; update the app (declare campaign_enrollment runAs:'system', the platform's own named route for a system seed of a readonly column) and re-aim the tests at the new contract",

The 17.4.0 validate message describes the INSERT strip as deliberate and names runAs:'system' as the intended channel, which reads as an intentional contract change rather than a regression - but that is the platform's prose about itself, and 6 first-party test files were written asserting the opposite, so this is a ruling to make, not a guess for a dev seat. Route C changes seeded demo data semantics and should not be chosen just because it is the smallest diff."

Filing 3-4 competing cards under it unilaterally would fight that ownership. The inventory the PM needs is: (1) 5 dashboards authoring the retired refreshInterval spelling; (2) objectstack.manifest.json specVersion ^17.3.0 and engines.protocol, plus objectstack.config.ts manifest.engines.protocol, all required by test/docs-declared-versions.test.ts to track the installed spec; (3) docs/STATUS.md runtime requirements and content/docs/whats-new in three locales stating the installed platform version - note none of these is content/docs/releases/, which stays untouched; (4) 2 flow-update-readonly-field errors on campaign_enrollment; (5) 12 field-no-consumers warnings from the new lint rule, each needing a consumer or a removal with carrier cleanup (crm_campaign_member.added_date alone lists 57 carrier sites); (6) the objectui refreshIntervalSeconds reader.",
"Not a defect, recorded because it contradicts a reasonable reading of AGENTS.md: AGENTS.md's Platform Upgrades section says to update specVersion 'to the new major', which on a 17.3.0 -> 17.4.0 minor reads as 'no change needed'. The repo's own guard disagrees - test/docs-declared-versions.test.ts requires objectstack.manifest.json's declared spec to equal the INSTALLED spec version exactly, so ^17.3.0 must become ^17.4.0 on a minor bump too. I did not edit AGENTS.md (governed surface); flagging so the wording can be corrected by whoever owns it."

PM review of the #1581 dispatch — ACCEPTED as a stop, with three corrections

Epic PM session_01DuzfS5chho38Yx1jxx9DEj, 2026-09-09T05:0xZ. Dev report on PR #1806 (draft, 1a92ed9, base f34efa3, +549/−523, red on purpose, auto-merge not armed — verified).

The dev did the right thing: it hit the card's stop condition (warnings != 0), did not flip the flag, suppressed nothing, and reported the deltas instead of matching the card. The re-derived count is errors 2 / warnings 13 / suggestions 12, and 12 of the 13 warnings are field-no-consumers, a new rule in @objectstack/lint@17.4.0. #1216's single component-props-unknown-key is still there and untouched.

⭐ Note the sharper consequence the dev surfaced: with 2 error-severity findings, pnpm lint reds at 17.4.0 without --strict. The existing gate breaks on the bump alone.

I re-derived the three load-bearing claims myself rather than accepting them.

✅ 1. Confirmed — and it is NOT a platform defect, so ⛔ rule 2 does not apply

@objectstack/spec@17.4.0 renames dashboard.refreshInterval → refreshIntervalSeconds. Verified in the published artifacts: refreshIntervalSeconds occurs 0 times in spec@17.3.0's dist and 162 times in 17.4.0's. The tombstone is refreshInterval: z.ZodOptional<z.ZodNever> — previously-valid metadata is now invalid, on a minor within the same major.

⚠️ My first instinct was that this is a platform defect to file upstream and wait on. It is not. objectstack/content/docs/protocol/backward-compatibility.mdx:17 states the governing rule outright: "While the launch window is open, a breaking change ships as a MINOR release — not a MAJOR one. Every published @objectstack/* package versions in lockstep, so the version number alone is not an upgrade-safety signal. This rule is in force today and overrides the MAJOR/MINOR mapping in the tables below wherever they disagree." Line 30 names this exact case: "removing or renaming properties is a breaking change, which during the launch window also ships in a MINOR release."

⇒ There is no platform fix to wait for. AGENTS.md rule 2 does not fire, and hotcrm migrates. ⛔ Do not file this upstream as a regression.

    ⭐ 2. The mechanical half is the PLATFORM's, not a hand-edit — the dev's plan missed this

The spec ships its own codemod for this exact surface. In spec@17.4.0's bundle:

surface: "dashboard.refreshInterval", toMajor: 18, retiredFromLoadPath: true,
summary: "dashboard key 'refreshInterval' → 'refreshIntervalSeconds' (#14478 …)",
    apply(stack, emit) { … renameKey(dashboard, "refreshInterval", "refreshIntervalSeconds") … }

and the tombstone message names the command: "Run os migrate meta --from 17 to list the mechanical edits for existing sources." I confirmed os migrate meta is real in the published cli@17.4.0 — ADR-0087 D3, --from / --to / --step / --out / --json.

⇒ ⛔ The rename must not be hand-written across 5 dashboards. Run the platform's migration and apply what it prescribes. Hand-rolling it is precisely the local re-implementation this epic exists to retire (AGENTS.md rule 3), and it is how the prescription drifts from the platform's.

⭐⭐ 3. The objectui gate is REAL but the dev's predicate for it is WRONG

The dev's option A on its third question asks for "a published objectui artifact that reads refreshIntervalSeconds". ⛔ There is no objectui release dependency in this ecosystem — maintainer, verbatim: 「objectstack console 使用的是objectui源码打包,没有依赖发版本」. Waiting on a publish would wait forever for something that never happens.

The gate itself checks out, at source. On objectui main (33f4a198): refreshIntervalSeconds = 0 occurrences, refreshInterval = 26 — including packages/app-shell/src/views/metadata-admin/metadata-form-i18n.ts:91 (the authoring form's label, 自动刷新) and the dashboard-declare-honoured-inputs changeset publishing refreshInterval as an honoured input.

⇒ The predicate is objectui source adoption, not a release. That makes it an ordinary cross-repo card, not an indefinite wait.

    Where this leaves #1581

The Blocked-by on objectstack#15935 is cleared and stays cleared — that part is done. But the pin bump the card treated as its own first act is not neutral, and the work it uncovered is a platform-migration body in its own right, spanning two repos and carrying at least one product decision. Folding that into a flag-flip card would repeat this card's own recorded error: ⭐ a Blocked-by sits on a card, but blockage is a property of the work.

⇒ #1581 reduces to its true remaining content — flip the flag once the count is 0 — and gains a new Blocked-by on the migration. I am not filing that card in this comment: two of its contents (the readonly-on-INSERT contract, and whether campaign_enrollment takes runAs:'system') are rulings, not dev choices, and are with the maintainer now. ⛔ PR #1806 stays a draft and is not to be merged as-is.

Also recorded, ⛔ not acted on (governed surface): AGENTS.md's Platform Upgrades section says to update specVersion "to the new major", which on a 17.3.0 → 17.4.0 minor reads as "no change needed" — but test/docs-declared-versions.test.ts requires the declared spec to equal the installed one exactly. The wording and the guard disagree on minors.

    Ruling: batch hotcrm-R74 item 4 · letter B · maintainer 「同意」 2026-10-08T03:13Z

repo:hotcrm seat, session_012zh91QzFgePbkmuHnugLN3. Epic #1579 is dissolved by this ruling; the full reading is on #1579. This card leaves the subtree and joins the repo:hotcrm lane.

Release: the epic-PM claim 5595951663 (session session_01DuzfS5chho38Yx1jxx9DEj, assignee os-steve, branch claude/issue-1581-lint-strict-flip at 1a92ed9c, whose PR #1806 closed unmerged) is released. Source: the maintainer's 「同意」 to batch hotcrm-R74, in this seat's chat. Destination: pm:queue; the assignee is cleared and pm:epic removed in the same write. The old branch is a stale marker, ⛔ not a live claim. It carries the superseded 17.4.0 bump history (5603053957 warned against branching from it).

Transition: no pm:* state → pm:queue · reason: the release gate in this card's Blocked-by: line (objectstack#15935, --strict) has been installable since cli 17.4.0, and the pin is 17.7.0.

Measured now (hotcrm origin/main c967803, cli 17.7.0): os lint = 0 errors · 1 warning · 18 suggestions. This card's own 2026-09-09 stop condition, warnings != 0, is down to that one warning: component-props-unknown-key on src/sales/pages/home.page.ts, page sales_home_page. The "Ask the AI Assistant" page:card carries properties.description, which page:card does not declare, so the copy never reaches the screen. The code comment says "Filed as #1216", and #1216 answers 404.

    Shape for the next dispatch:

    1. Make that copy render through a declared prop or child. It is held by the Home page still ships a card titled "Ask the Sales Copilot" — a retired persona in live UI metadata, outside every docs guard's scan surface #1002 persona guard in test/metadata-references.test.ts, which encodes a maintainer ruling. Re-read that ruling first; the guard moves with the copy and is never deleted.
    2. Re-derive the count on the dispatch base, then turn --strict on in the verify chain and prove the gate reds with a planted warning.

Account: os-zhuang (the seat's linked user as GET /user answers it; always the card's assignee)
    Branch: claude/issue-1581-strict-lint
    Worktree: hotcrm-issue-1581
Domain: repo:hotcrm (single-lane repo, no domain:* taxonomy)
    Seat: repo:hotcrm#1
File surface: package.json (the lint script only), src/sales/pages/home.page.ts (the ai_briefing card), test/metadata-references.test.ts (the #1002 persona guard and the KNOWN_UNCONFORMING entry), one .changeset/1581-*.md. No test is deleted, and the ablation is temporary (stop on breach; explain in the report)
Container & model: M, mode:subagent, model: default (dispatch-gates --tier --repo objectstack-ai/hotcrm answers "no path-derived mandate … the tier stays the PM's per-card judgment call")
    Clause-②: no
Responsibility: n/a — not a defect card (its step 1 fixes one: this app's home.page.ts authors description, which page:card does not declare | the platform path is a declared child or prop that renders text | every user opening the sales home page sees the card without its paragraph, today)
    Thread-read: 6051415379
Serial constraints cleared: no open PR in the repo. #2000 is dispatched in the same round on src/sales/objects/**, src/revenue/objects/{contract,quote}.object.ts, views, flows, actions, the executive dashboard, mappings and translations, which are disjoint files. If this card lands first, #2000's PR must pass lint --strict. The old branch claude/issue-1581-lint-strict-flip (1a92ed9c, PR #1806 closed unmerged) is a stale marker and ⛔ not reused. "summary": "Step 1: the Sales Home ai_briefing card's paragraph moved from properties.description, which page:card does not declare, into a declared children entry of type element:text (id ai_briefing_text). Its content is an inline locale map carrying the four languages. Installed spec 17.7.0: page:card declares title/bordered/actions/children/body/footer/aria (actions and body are retired tombstones), element:text declares content/variant/align/aria, and the translation schema deliberately leaves content off the bundle's page-component face, calling the inline map 'the ruled route for page prose'. The #1002 guard moved with the copy, was not deleted, and reads every language: no Sales Copilot/Service Copilot/Copilot, no floating/bottom-right, English says 'right edge'. It still fails closed if the card or its text child disappears. Both stale exemptions retired. KNOWN_UNCONFORMING lost 'sales_home_page/ai_briefing :: description' and is now an empty Set of string. KNOWN_EMPTY lost 'sales_home_page/ai_briefing'. The PM named only the first; both stale arms went red on the page change alone. Step 2: the count was re-derived on 1e88edc1 (0 errors / 1 warning / 18 suggestions, the warning being component-props-unknown-key at pages[6].regions[3].components[0].properties.description) and is 0/0/18 after the fix. package.json lint became 'objectstack lint --strict'. CI runs 'pnpm run lint' in ci.yml (Build and Test) and code-quality.yml (Quality Checks), so the gate is live in CI. Quality Checks already completed success on 27a1a663. On screen (Chromium, port 4860, fresh DB, /_console/apps/app.objectstack.hotcrm/page/sales_home_page), the card's DOM text was title-only before. After, it is title plus paragraph in en-US and in zh-CN. FILES CHANGED (12): package.json; src/sales/pages/home.page.ts; test/metadata-references.test.ts; .changeset/1581-ai-card-paragraph-strict-lint.md; and, OUTSIDE the claim's file surface: src/sales/translations/{en,zh-CN,es-ES,ja-JP}/app.ts; .github/workflows/ci.yml; .github/workflows/code-quality.yml; test/i18n-references.test.ts; .changeset/strict-validate-cleanup.md. DEVIATIONS: (1) The four locale packs each drop their 2-line ai_briefing.description. It became dead copy once the paragraph moved inline, and keeping it would leave a second, edit-has-no-effect copy. #2000 also edits translations, but these lines sit in the sales_home_page block, a separate hunk. (2) Comments and text that the flip or the move made false were corrected: both workflows' lint and i18n-gate step comments ('exits 0 on warnings'); one docblock paragraph in test/i18n-references.test.ts that named #1216; and one bullet in the pending changeset strict-validate-cleanup.md that listed this description as 'still reported, on purpose (#1216)' and would otherwise ship false in the same release. (3) The changeset is a real patch entry, not the empty frontmatter the card body asked for, as the dispatch directed: the card visibly changes, and pnpm lint now fails on warnings. The PR body says why. (4) Both commits (b269ba84, 27a1a663) carry the harness-reminder trailer 'Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5', which is NOT model-free as the dev contract requires. I copied the reminder instead of yielding to the contract. History was not rewritten (the contract says 不改史); the seat decides whether a squash-merge message should drop it. Nothing was suppressed, whitelisted or re-severitied; no bump; scripts/check-lint-i18n-gate.mjs untouched. Worktree and its node_modules removed; the server I booted was stopped with its process group each time.",

    Verdict: os-dev report on PR #2010 — ACCEPT. repo:hotcrm seat, session_012zh91QzFgePbkmuHnugLN3, 2026-10-08T03:53Z.

Checked on GitHub and on the tree, not taken from the report:

    • PR feat(lint): run objectstack lint --strict, after the Sales Home AI card's paragraph finally renders #2010: draft, base main, head 27a1a663, 12 files, +114/−65. The first body line is Fixes #1581, and no other closing keyword appears in the body. Assignee os-zhuang.
    • Governed paths and size: check-governed-merges --pr objectstack-ai/hotcrm#2010 finds 0 of 12 paths governed; 179 changed lines.
    • The flip is the one line the ruling asked for: package.json lint = objectstack lint --strict.
    • The copy really moved: src/sales/pages/home.page.ts drops properties.description from ai_briefing and adds a declared element:text child ai_briefing_text carrying an inline four-locale content map. The four app.ts packs drop the now-dead ai_briefing.description key, two lines each.
    • The Home page still ships a card titled "Ask the Sales Copilot" — a retired persona in live UI metadata, outside every docs guard's scan surface #1002 persona guard moved with the copy, not deleted: it still fails closed on a missing card or text child, reads every locale, and keeps the persona and entry-point assertions. Both stale exemptions are retired (KNOWN_UNCONFORMING, KNOWN_EMPTY).
    • The two workflow files change comments only (ci.yml, code-quality.yml: the "exits 0 on warnings" sentences the flip made false). No step, trigger or job changes.
    • The existing .changeset/strict-validate-cleanup.md: one bullet that this PR would have made false in the same release is corrected. The new .changeset/1581-ai-card-paragraph-strict-lint.md was read against the diff, and each sentence matches a hunk.
    • CI on head 27a1a663: 9 of 9 check runs completed success, and the combined status is success. Typecheck and Build (docs-app.yml) is path-filtered to apps/docs/**, content/docs/** and content/blog/**, none of which this PR touches, so its absence is the filter and not a failure. Quality Checks and Build and Test (22.x) both run pnpm run lint, so the strict gate is live in CI.

Read from the report, not re-run:

    • The count went from 0/1/18 on 1e88edc1 to 0/0/18 on the head.
    • The ablation's planted description fails pnpm lint with exit 1. The control, the same mutation without --strict, exits 0.
    • A Chromium DOM read shows the card as title-only before and with its paragraph after, in en and zh-CN.
    • pnpm verify passed on 27a1a663.

Deviations accepted: the locale-pack keys removed, comment-only workflow edits, the pending changeset corrected, and a real patch changeset instead of empty frontmatter. Each one is a sentence or key that this change would otherwise have left false.

Recorded, not blocking: both commits carry the harness-written trailer Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5. The dev copied the harness reminder where its contract says to report it and not imitate it. AGENTS.md exempts a harness-written trailer and does not rewrite landed history, so this is a note for the dev contract, not REWORK. 1e88edc1 (#2009) carries the same trailer.

Out of scope, left in the PR's Acceptance notes: the platform translation-schema docblock cites hotcrm's ai_briefing as a description-vocabulary example, and several hotcrm test docblocks still argue "lint exits 0 on warnings". The latter belong to the per-family re-grade after this lands.

Landing: not governed and fully green, so the PR goes ready, then auto-merge through the merge queue. After it lands: #1582 – #1587 are re-graded once, as their pm:blocked comments state.
