Finding
Two notes in packages/spec describe objectui grid code that has moved:
packages/spec/liveness/field.json, theinlineColumns.children.prefixand.scalenotes, still citec.prefix || '¥'andc.scale ?? currency default 2as the reads. objectuiGridField.tsx:1132-1133(objectui#10355) readscurrencyAdornment(c, currency, locale)and "never a default¥", and PR fix(spec)!: refusescaleon a currency inline grid column;prefixpromises no default symbol (#20045) #20223 (card finding(spec):InlineGridColumnSchema.scalestill offers decimal places on acurrencyinline column, and itsprefixdescribe promises a¥default the renderer no longer has — ruling B / 乙 left the inline grid mirror behind #20045) refusesscaleon a currency inline column at parse.packages/spec/src/data/field-scale.ts, the docblock sentence "The one2that looks like a currency default belongs to an inline grid COLUMN's rounding", describes the same pre-[docs]ai/agents.mdxstill documentsagent.toolsas a live field — it was tombstoned in protocol 17 #10355 grid.
Neither is published text (a liveness ledger note and a TS docblock on an internal helper), so PR #20223 correctly left them outside its surface and recorded them as "carrier: none".
Where it was found
PR #20223's body (「Stale notes outside this surface」) and its contract-review record 5856253884 (③, first flag), which asked for a carrier. This card is it; nothing in #20223 changes for it.
Fix
Re-read both objectui sites at the time of the fix and rewrite the two notes to the reads that exist then: prefix replaces the resolved currency's symbol with no default; scale is refused on a currency inline column and is a number column's rounding width. Notes only; no schema, export or behaviour moves. If the liveness ledger's own gate (Spec property liveness) wants a re-measurement stamp on the edited entries, carry it.
