What

Recovers a real, unshipped premium doc found during a branch-cleanup audit. The source never reached master (only stale build/ HTML artifacts remained); it lived only on the 205-commits-behind add-career-development-premium branch, with further refinements sitting in a git stash.

  • docs/journey/career-development/README.mdx + _category_.json — the section landing.
  • langchain-director-deployed-engineering.mdx (~290 lines, premium: true) — a complete worked example of tailoring outreach for a Director, Deployed Engineering role at LangChain: the JD analysis, an evidence bank mapped to every pillar, honesty guardrails, and all message drafts (Version A/B/C + the version actually sent).

How it was recovered

  1. Base doc applied from the stale branch onto current master (not the old fork).
  2. The stash's career-doc refinement (the Version B "current best" message + variants) applied on top.
  3. All em-dashes converted to the repo convention (colons in headings, commas inline) so it passes the blocking em-dash hook.

Deliberately excluded from the stash: unfinished ISSUES.md placeholder rows (_(set key)_ stubs) and an MDXComponents SvgVariantGrid registration (unrelated to this doc; needs its own verification).

Verification

  • make check: all 516 MDX files compile.
  • Em-dash clean (both files).
  • premium: true + draft: false (valid premium combo, not the mutually-exclusive premium+draft).

Recover the career-development section that never reached master: a
premium worked example of tailoring outreach for a Director, Deployed
Engineering role at LangChain (JD analysis, evidence bank mapped to the
role's pillars, honesty guardrails, and the message drafts). Base version
from the stale add-career-development-premium branch, re-applied on
current master. Stash refinements applied next.

Apply the stashed refinement to the LangChain career doc (the Version B
"current best" recruiter message + the sent version + the case/connection
variants), then convert all em-dashes to the repo convention (colons in
pillar/version headings, commas inline) so it passes the blocking
em-dash hook. Doc compiles clean; premium:true + draft:false.

Closing: on review, this doc contains employer-confidential material (current employer + project metrics, named F500 customers, comp, a named recruiter). It should not live in a public repo even premium-gated. Content preserved privately outside the repo; not merging.
