This adds two open points to docs/design/pieces.md §5. Both are marked not decided, depends on Joep's track (ontola/atomic-server#2045):

  • O14, matching by derived frozen ID. Views, integrations and lenses could match a class by the frozen ID that Joep's direction review proposes deriving, as well as by its live ID. A later move of the ontology off github.io (Q-082) would then not break manifest matching (D3) or lens catalogs (L1).
  • O15, plugin schema setup through ensureSchema.
    • ensureSchema (browser/lib/src/plugin-schema.ts) has been on develop since 2026-09-16, and is in the pin.
    • No drive app uses it: each has its own find-or-create over the frame store's newResource, and the frame has no schema call.
    • It fits Q-107, which is open.

A paragraph after the table notes that the review's "Apps ship a bundle of their ontology with fixed live IDs" matches how ontology/ and ontology-kit/ already work.

New sources:

  • S27: #2045 at daef1c56, and the review.
  • S28: candidate20 0fa9c07 file:line references.
  • S29: Decision Inbox Q-082 and Q-107.

Docs only. oxfmt --check docs/design/pieces.md passes, and every link resolves.

Matching by derived frozen ID, and plugin schema setup through
ensureSchema, both not decided and dependent on ontola/atomic-server#2045.
Notes that the review's app ontology bundle matches ontology/ and
ontology-kit/. Sources S27-S29.
