cargo clippy --workspace --all-targets -- -D warnings fails with 3 errors in desktop/src/menu.rs and desktop/src/vfs.rs on clippy 1.98 (toolchain 1.98.1). The errors predate the current plugin work: seen on the claude/atomic-plugins-pin-candidate14 line and later candidates. They block a workspace-wide clippy gate. (The pre-commit hook excludes atomic-server-tauri, so it doesn't catch them.)
Fix: address the 3 lints in desktop/ (small, mechanical), check whether develop has the same errors, and fix them there.
