Introduced improved handling of Date/Time serialisation and deserialisation.

This release:

  • Allows the values of StartDate and EndDate to be retrieved from Event, without needing to use its subtypes.
  • Introduces validation of date strings
  • Automates serialisation of dates
  • Provides more options for serialising time

These changes should be backwards compatible.
