Several efforts have been underway to encode GeoPose / RML objects in OWL/RDF. The GeoPose 1.0 conceptual model defines a GeoPose as a transformation between two frames of reference, one of them (optionally) being geocentric. The transformation, however, is included in one of the frames of reference definitions rather than as a separate class. The question is raised whether this is compatible with a GeoPose / RML model where frames of reference / reality space definitions are exchangeable, first-class objects.
