Paul Didier

Postdoctoral researcher at RITMO, Dept. of Musicology, Oslo University, Norway. PhD in audio signal processing from KU Leuven, Belgium. I focused on distributed signal processing in wireless acoustic sensor networks. Used to building simulation tooling and caring about reproducibility.

What I'm working on

Working on enlarging our understanding of the concept of groove and its effect on the "pleasurable urge to move" using signal processing for Music Information Retrieval (MIR) and machine learning tools and Afro-diasporic music corpuses.

  • tidanseplus_batch: Simulation code for the TI-DANSE+ paper (EUSIPCO 2023)
