Summary

  • Retarget GenLauncher from .NET Framework 4.6 to 4.8, the newest .NET Framework release that retains Windows 7 SP1 support.
  • Migrate NuGet dependencies from packages.config and checked-in assemblies to PackageReference.
  • Upgrade the remaining compatible packages and update the MinIO and YamlDotNet integrations for their newer APIs.
  • Remove dependencies, assembly references, binding redirects, and package files made obsolete by the upgrades, and refresh the bundled native 7-Zip libraries.

Use the newest .NET Framework release that retains Windows 7 support.
Adopt PackageReference, upgrade stable packages, and update affected integrations.

@p0ls3r I’ll be closing this PR toward the end of this month. I need to shift my focus to personal and career-related priorities, so I won’t be able to continue maintaining it beyond this month.
