Extensive collection of improvements -- typing, visual improvement, variable names and code organization.

Changes

• Using Direction enum instead of letters, hence removed all the type-checking ignores
• Removed redundant Adapter.path_dirs
• Empty corners(in imperfect mazes) removed
• Pattern cells recognition improved
• Removed unnecessary render_text_gen()
• Several method, variables and parameter names improved

Testing

• make lint passes locally
• make test passes locally
• Manually tested the behavior described above
