Summary

This pull request updates FastBack’s Fabric build so it can run on Minecraft 26.1.2

My main goal is to provide a working release-candidate port for the current Minecraft/Fabric, and keep the existing FastBack behaviour intact. I have tested this locally, please see: https://github.com/hassatheswede/fastback/releases

I haven't incremented the version number, so I assume this is something to be changed?

I have tested this .jar on my end and I am not currently aware of any major blocking bugs.

As this is my first time contributing, please let me know of anything that needs changing, particularly with formatting notes like these.

Thank you so much for creating this mod, helping to contribute feels like the least I can do, I hope this is useful!

-Hassa

What I've changed

  • Updated the Fabric target to Minecraft 26.1.2
  • Updated Fabric Loader / Fabric API related build configuration
  • Updated the Gradle/Loom setup so the project builds against the newer Minecraft version
  • Adjusted build configuration for newer Gradle compatibility where needed
  • Ensured the Fabric jar includes the shared common classes
  • Updated dependency/shading handling for bundled libraries used by FastBack
  • Verified that the generated Fabric jar loads successfully in local testing

Hey, thanks for this. I have some other work inflight to rework the build and pave the way for neoforge support; I want to get that done before going to 26.1. I'll integrate your changes here when I get there, though.

Thanks again.
