Applies Renovate's #4, #5 and #6 directly: the merge API refuses a token without the workflow scope, and these three touch workflow files. upload-pages-artifact v5 excludes dotfiles from the artifact, which would have silently dropped the .nojekyll the site step wrote. It was doing nothing: an artifact deployment is served exactly as uploaded and Jekyll never runs over it, so the file goes rather than being worked around.
