Switching Ethernet on and off like WiFI from tray icon

I must often switch between wifi and ethernet connection. It would be a nice feature to be able to turn the ethernet off like i can with wifi inside the network tray icon.

Yeah, there appears to be no way to quickly disable some connection types, oddly enough. Heck, even GNOME lets you do that...

This is addressed upstream in freedesktop-rs/nmrs#547. Can't say when a version bump in this repo will come. We'll likely wait until 3.5.2 merges downstream in the applets and settings repos and then we can cut a new release for other fixes including this one.
