PIGI: A pathway-informed mutual exclusivity framework to detect genetic interactions in pediatric cancer
PIGI uses pathway knowledge from Reactome to perform a biologically informed test, assesses CO and ME from pathway relationships and results in a set of co-occurring and mutually exclusive gene pairs. It uncovers new gene pair relationships and spotlights potential SL candidates by decreasing pathway epistasis, subtype effects, and cooperative interactions.
In code and data directories all necessary materials are available to run PIGI (refer to readme files).
