The image already ships FreeView and its supporting graphics libraries, but lacks a usable Mesa DRI driver, leaving FreeView unable to create an OpenGL context in many container environments.
This targeted one-package fix adds
mesa-dri-drivers, including the llvmpipe software fallback. It makes the already-included FreeView usable for quick visual QC, at an image-size cost of just ~240 MB.See discussion.
