Motion-recognition

Motion-recognition is a project that uses hand motion detection to control the system volume and move the mouse cursor. It uses the MediaPipe library to track hands in real time from a video feed.

Features

• Mouse Cursor Control:

• The right hand is used to move the cursor and click.

• Move the index finger together with the thumb to move the mouse.

• Tap the middle finger to click.

• Volume Control:

• The left hand adjusts the volume.

• Moving the thumb and index finger together or apart adjusts the system volume.

• A green rectangle indicates the volume control area on the screen.

Dependencies

• Python 3.x
• OpenCV
• MediaPipe
• PyAutoGUI
• PyCaw

Install the dependencies with:

pip install requirements.txt

How to Use

1. Run the Python script.
2. Use your webcam to track your hands.
3. Control the mouse with your left hand and the volume with your right hand.

Press q to exit.
