I've turned the original asciidoc into markdown. The only problem I see is that footnotes don't work. I've tried multiple viewers. @jamezp , do you know anything about that?

I'll have a look at this in the afternoon. I'm not sure why asciidoc wouldn't work as we have other posts in asciidoc, but I can have a look at that too.

  1. I figured out how to update the version of the resteasy-grpc doc.
  2. I replaced the markdown version with an asciidoc version. Now, the footnotes work when I read the file in Firefox, but they disappear when I talk to quarkus. Also, for the markdown version, talking to quarkus, I get the same phenomenon as before: the footnotes look like [^1] and don't act as a link.

I'll have a look at this tomorrow. There were some recent tweaks we had to add to get asciidoc and Roq working. It might need a rebase.
