Steam plant ops management for the boiler rooms that keep your hospital alive while everyone pretends they don't exist
AshpanOS is an early-stage operations platform concept built for industrial steam plant engineers running boiler rooms in hospitals, universities, and aging industrial facilities. It aims to replace the binders, laminated checklists, and institutional knowledge locked inside one indispensable employee with a single, functional dashboard. The target user is the engineer who actually knows what a flue damper is and why it matters.
- Fuel burn rate tracking across shift periods
- Flue gas emissions logging with EPA stack test schedule visibility
- Pressure vessel inspection cycle tracking and due-date alerts
- Shift handover logs with structured note capture
- Dashboard view consolidating plant status at a glance

AshpanOS is currently a prototype-stage application with a frontend dashboard and local data handling. There is no production backend, external database, or live data pipeline wired up at this stage. The structure is intentionally simple to validate the concept before committing to infrastructure.
