CathedralCap is built as a set of discrete microservices — ingestion, scoring, rating, and document generation — each deployable independently behind an internal API gateway. Structural survey data and heritage records are stored in MongoDB, which handles the deeply nested, schema-variable nature of 800-year-old building documentation without complaint. The actuarial rating engine runs as a stateless compute service so it can scale horizontally during peak submission windows. Redis handles long-term storage of congregation liability profiles and audit trail data, because I needed something that would never lose a record and Redis has never once let me down.
