Upload a portrait for direct landmark traces, a face-mesh wireframe, value reduction, measurement guides, and shape studies. Runs in-browser, no backend, no upload.

The default layout places the portrait/webcam beside a 3D skull reference at the detected head angle. The skull is deliberately separate; Drawloom does not claim anatomical registration to the subject.
Webcam mode also includes a guided five-angle capture. It checks measurable pose, framing, even lighting, image sharpness, facial motion, and a relaxed expression before automatically storing each clean camera frame. Overlays are not baked into the captured set.
Open Study board to select an enlarged frozen shot with overlays, rename and switch sessions, reorder photos, or choose a grid/strip layout. Captures and session edits save automatically in this browser’s IndexedDB. Use Save shot for a clean JPEG or Export contact sheet for a labeled PNG of the current arrangement. Use Back up session to download a portable JSON file containing photos, measured poses, order, and layout. Import study restores it as a new session without replacing existing studies (40 MB limit). Backups include your photos; keep them wherever you normally store private images. Device storage is local, not a cloud backup; storage failures are shown in the app. Capture / retake returns to the active set in webcam mode; clicking a captured thumbnail retakes that angle without removing the old shot until its replacement is ready.
Overlays live in src/lib/overlays/. Add one by exporting an Overlay and registering it in registry.ts.
