Notes

• Current version called RFC 7986
• iCal is a standard format for calender data that allows for cross-platform data exchange
• iCal, iCalender, and ICS are all different
  • iCal was original name of Apple calender
  • Apple Calender uses ICS
  • iCalender is the format name that is used for Google Calender, Outlook, ect.
• ICS is a static file format
