This license applies only to the original source code, configuration, and
documentation in this repository that are owned by Stefano Della Valle
(the "Software"). Third-party software, dependencies, SDKs, libraries, and
other externally sourced components remain subject to their own separate
license terms and are not relicensed by this document.

1. No Open Source Grant

The Software is not licensed under an open source license. No right to copy,
modify, distribute, sublicense, publish, sell, rent, host, or otherwise
exploit the Software is granted except as expressly stated in this license.

2. Limited Internal Use for IOTA Validator Nodes

Subject to continued compliance with this license, permission is granted,
free of charge, solely to persons or entities operating validator nodes on
the IOTA network, to use the Software internally and only to support their
own validator-node operations on the IOTA network.

This permission is personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable,
non-sublicensable, and revocable.

3. Prohibited Uses

Except to the minimum extent required to exercise the limited permission in
Section 2, you may not:

- copy or reproduce the Software;
- distribute, publish, disclose, transmit, or make the Software available to
  any third party;
- modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or
  create derivative works of the Software;
- use the Software to provide services to third parties;
- use the Software for commercial, production, or business purposes if you
  are not an IOTA validator node operator acting within Section 2;
- remove, obscure, or alter copyright, license, or attribution notices.

4. No Trademark or Patent License

No trademark rights, branding rights, patent rights, or other intellectual
property rights are granted by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, except
for the limited copyright license expressly granted in Section 2.

5. Reservation of Rights

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by the copyright holder.

6. Compliance with Third-Party Licenses

If the Software is used together with third-party components, you are solely
responsible for complying with the licenses and terms applicable to those
components.

7. Termination

Any use of the Software outside the scope of this license automatically and
immediately terminates all rights granted under this license.

Upon termination, you must cease use of the Software and destroy or
permanently delete all copies in your possession or control, except where
retention is required by applicable law.

8. No Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE
COPYRIGHT HOLDER BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY,
WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF,
OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OF OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE
SOFTWARE.

10. Commercial and Other Licensing Requests

Any use not expressly permitted by this license requires prior written
authorization from the copyright holder.
