Adds Identifier Column to Tools. I maintain this MIT-licensed Python module. Its CSV path uses the standard library to preserve literal identifiers such as
00123andNA, with a record-by-record report of skipped or rejected input. It also has optional XLSX support for text cells; it rejects numeric cells instead of guessing lost digits from display formats. The linked guide includes a copy-in module, a standalone ZIP, examples, documented limits and 30 passing tests. This follows the README contribution instructions and adds one entry in the existing format. The destination link resolves, and
git diff --checkpasses.
