The change includes the following modifications: * Rename get_firmware_version to get_hw_sw_version * Augment the return types with newly introduced enums and classes * Automatically call get_hw_sw_version on instantiation to determine the hardware revision

ok that looks good was able to retrieve the correct fw version, type and hw version from a Shimmer3R

on a side note, the Shimmer3R has USB C support, and I have tested USB C comms with the ShimmerDock class (dock_api) as well. just need to pick the correct comport. |
