Remote Sensing RSEI ArcMap Skill

Codex skill and ArcPy workflow for remote-sensing ecological quality analysis with ArcMap 10.8.

It helps inspect Landsat or Sentinel image folders, identify bands and metadata, compute common RSEI indicators, run PCA, classify ecological quality, summarize area statistics, and export ArcMap layouts.

Requirements

• ArcGIS Desktop / ArcMap 10.8
• ArcPy Python, usually C:\Python27\ArcGIS10.8\python.exe
• Spatial Analyst extension

Example

Inspect an image folder:

python .\scripts\inspect_folder.py --input "D:\data\scene" --output "D:\data\scene\inspection.json"

Run RSEI with ArcMap 10.8:

& "C:\Python27\ArcGIS10.8\python.exe" .\scripts\rsei_arcmap10_8.py --input "D:\data\scene" --boundary "D:\data\aoi.shp" --output "D:\data\rsei_out"

Export a map:

Notes

Sentinel-2 has no thermal band, so full RSEI requires an external LST raster. For publication work, confirm formulas, coefficients, masks, and classification thresholds match the paper method.
