Resolved by commit ce765c3 (merged via PR #91): the duplicate ExtendedConfig in config_extended/models.py was consolidated into config_extended/config.py; models.py now re-exports the canonical class. The reported data clump (__init__ duplicated across config.py and models.py) no longer exists. Local fast suite: 125 passed, 1 skipped.
