📦 Installation

Clone the repository or install via Composer:

💻 CLI Usage

The modernized executable is located at bin/eidcloud-modernize:

1. Scan a Project for Obsolete Patterns

php bin/eidcloud-modernize scan ./legacy_project/

2. Dry-Run Upgrade with Side-by-Side Unified Diffs

php bin/eidcloud-modernize upgrade ./legacy_project/ --dry-run

3. Safely Apply Modernizations with Automatic Backups

php bin/eidcloud-modernize upgrade ./legacy_project/ --apply --backup

4. Display Help and Options

php bin/eidcloud-modernize --help

🧪 Automated Testing

eidcloud-php-modernizer comes equipped with a 100% zero-dependency automated test runner:

php tests/run_tests.php

All unit tests validate AST transformations, diff generation, and verify compilation using native php -l.
